Stefanie Tomlin
Stefanie Tomlin is the first general manager of CPKC Stadium, the first venue in the world purpose-built for a women’s professional sports team and the home of the Kansas City Current of the National Women’s Soccer League. A lifelong Kansas Citian, Tomlin oversees stadium operations and work towards making CPKC Stadium a community pillar locally and a globally recognized venue.
Tomlin has spent her professional career in professional sports and live events. She began her career working for the Brooklyn Nets, then transitioned to working as an acting special events manager at the Barclays Center.
In 2013, Tomlin swapped coasts for an event manager position at the Los Angeles Convention center. After four years in the role, she returned to New York for a general manager position at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre. She served as the deputy general manager of the theatre from 2017 through 2019 and as the venue’s general manager from 2019 through 2023. Tomlin also served as the vice president and general manager of Wollman Skating Rink in Central Park from 2021 through 2023.
Most recently, she served as the senior director of client relations for Gravity Productions, an AV production company. Simultaneously, Tomlin served in a similar consulting position with SKYMAGIC, a UK and Singapore based drone light show studio.
Tomlin is the founder of Black Women in Sports and Entertainment, a professional development group that serves a membership base of over 400 women. Tomlin graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University.
