Rachel Rogers has been an integral part of the Cobb Travel & Tourism team since October 2013. As the vice president of sports sales and engagement for CT&T and the Cobb Sports Alliance, she is at the forefront of promoting Cobb County as a premier sports tourism destination and overseeing the operations of the Cobb Sports Alliance.

Her career began with the Atlanta Braves’ Minor League affiliate, the Rome Braves, where she dedicated six seasons as the community relations manager/executive suite director. Previously, she served as the senior associate athletic director of marketing and athletic development, as well as the senior woman administrator at Shorter University. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in transitioning the Department of Athletics from NAIA to NCAA Division II. She also managed marketing and promotions, advised the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and chaired the Gender Equity & Diversity Inclusion Committee.

She currently serves as a board member for both Sports ETA and Visit Marietta Georgia, further exemplifying her commitment to fostering inclusive and thriving sports tourism communities.
