Michael Cain

CEO, USA Karate

Michael Cain is a strategic executive who brings a dynamic background in driving business development, generating new revenue streams, optimizing operations, and providing sound consultation to senior leaders, clients, and organizations. He is currently serving as CEO for the USA Karate-Do Federation (USA Karate). While not a practicing martial artist, he was hired to re-set the strategic direction of the organization and to ensure that compliance with the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee’s (USOPC) policies and standards are met, while implementing strategies for organizational growth. Early in his career, Cain held a variety of roles for The Walt Disney Company/ESPN Wide World of Sports (sports manager/business consultant /on-air talent), where he managed an event portfolio of 16–25 events annually spanning 15 individual sport disciplines, 40K athletes, and a combined revenue of $500K+. 

In 2013, he became the Director of Business Development for the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s Training Centers. He remained here for six years, delivering world-class events and directly contributed to the Training Centers’ $4.5M+ ARR.

As a self-employed business consultant, Michael provides consulting services to clients such as youth sports organizations, boards of directors, business bureaus, sports commissions, and nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations.
