Joe Piotrowski serves as the director of sports development at the Florida Sports Foundation, where he uses his eight years of experience in sports tourism and 15 years in hospitality leadership, sponsorship sales, and event operations, to forge strong partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders—including sports leagues, event organizers, hotels, and local businesses—he has a proven track record of delivering successful events that drive substantial economic benefit to the communities he serves.

An alumnus of Florida State University, he holds both a bachelor's and a master’s degree from the institution. His passion lies in showcasing the transformative power of sports tourism on local communities and he is dedicated to advancing Florida’s reputation as a premier destination for sports tourism events.
