Brandon Meier

Senior Associate AD – Marketing & Multimedia, University of Nebraska

Brandon Meier joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in October of 2018 as the senior associate AD for marketing and multimedia. As a member of the executive team, Meier leads many of Nebraska’s external departments including Community and Government Relations, Creative & Emerging Media, HuskerVision, Licensing, Marketing & Fan Experience and Spirit. He also oversees Nebraska’s multimedia rights partnership with PlayFly and serves as the liaison to The Big Ten Network and adidas.

A Nebraska native and UNL graduate, Meier returned to Nebraska after working for the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma Sooners. While earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Nebraska, Meier worked as a student assistant and video producer for HuskerVision. Working under HuskerVision founder Jeff Schmahl, Meier was part of the first video production department in intercollegiate athletics.

In 2023, Meier led the efforts to organize and execute Volleyball Day in Nebraska and produced a book titled, “Memorial Stadium: 100 Years Through These Gates.” Known for his expertise in marketing and fan experience, Meier’s creative team transformed the Memorial Stadium game day experience in 2018 introducing the stadium light show that included fireworks, pyrotechnics, lasers and a drone show. Meier sits on the Memorial Stadium modernization committee and leads the department’s efforts around data analytics.
