Amy Haney
Amy Haney joined USA Cheer in 2020 as the director of college STUNT and now serves as the director of STUNT (West, Mid-South, and Southeast). A California native with a bachelor's degree from Cal State Fullerton, and master's degree from National University, Haney worked in high school education for 12 years as a teacher and an athletic coach and then moved on to be the director of spirit programs and head STUNT coach for Concordia University Irvine for nine years. She also worked in athletic administration and compliance as Concordia transitioned from NAIA to NCAA Division II, and then transitioned to coaching full time and started the inaugural STUNT Program at CUI.
Haney has held a seat on the board of the College STUNT Coaches Association and the College STUNT Rules Committee. Haney has been a frequent speaker on STUNT, giving presentations to athletes, coaches and administrators on the sport, Title IX, budgets, finances, recruiting and operations. She brings an enthusiasm for recruiting new colleges and universities to not only adopt STUNT but bring them in as varsity programs under their athletic departments.
